Selena Sportfishing Charter

March of 2009, after a brutal back and forth battle, I was able to convince the "X" to give Selena back to me. It had become an obsession to get her back at any cost, not because of the business I was loosing, because Selena didn't deserve to sit on the sidelines and wither away after being so successful. Back to work. We had to sand the bottom down to the fiberglass and apply a product called "The West System" to get her ready for new bottom paint. I said if I got Selena back, I would work hard to do even more to make her better than she was before. I decided that a complete new paint job was what would make her new again.

        Complete new wiring,batteries, rudder shafts, hell, you name it we did it. Again Charro and Alejandro were there to help make the best decisions and evaluations. My manager Ulises and su primo worked for over a month sanding before the painter began to do his thing. It took us three months working evenings and weekends before she was ready to get wet again. Looking back, had I not done allot of the work my self fixing parts, it probably would have been a bad investment reviving Selena once again. Like they say: BOAT means, Break Out Another Thousand.
