The Project

After two awesome seasons adversity hit. I was getting a divorce from my Mexican wife. Selena had to come out of the water and the possibility of loosing her was forever was high percentage. Talk about bitter!!!!!!!! It's hard to swallow when you have an idea and turned it into a dream only to have the carpet ripped right out from under your feet. I had invested every cent into Selena and spent six months of drama and anticipation to make it all happen.

So, I rented a lot in town and Alejandro Pila helped me get her moved where she would sit for over a freaking year. During that time the boat had gotten broken into and had all the wiring torn out for the metal.  Nice............. This woke me up to the fact that if the knuckleheads had stolen the turbo chargers or the injection pumps, it would not be worth the rehab. I called a mechanic and had the engines stripped of all the bolt on items and brought them to California. For the next year I spent many evenings cleaning and rebuilding parts and packaging them up in hope that I would get Selena back some day via the legal process. Time to start drinking heavily..................................
