I wanted the boat to have all the basics plus show some class without going luxury. The boat was named the “Seahorse II” but ,I wanted the boat to be named after a female. Due to the fact the boat was being changed to a Mexican national, I wanted a latina name. Selena is the classiest, sexiest latina in my book so there was no hesitating in naming my new boat
after “Selena”.
I don't want to call it luck because everything was planned and thought through. The boat was built because I knew it would charter 15 -20 trips a month during the summer months and she did right out of the gates in May of 2006. However, looking back I still have to feel that there was some luck involved. I really believe that this project could have never happened in the USA at least for me. Ensenada was very good to Jay.
